Tony Cragg, Duomo of Milan Terraces

16 April 2015

On the occasion of Expo Milano 2015, Veneranda Fabbrica Del Duomo di Milano presents an exhibition of six monumental sculptures by Tony Cragg in an evocative installation on the Duomo of Milan Terraces. "Certainly, the setting of the Terraces of the Duomo is unusual for contemporary art,” says the artist, “but when you're up there and surrounded by sculptures everywhere, you realize that sculpture is an integral part of the monument, especially this one.” The six works on the Terraces join a white stone sculpture inspired by the Madonnina, titled Paradox (Paradosso), installed within the Duomo.
