As part of Dia Art Foundation's DiaTalks programme, art historian Alex Bacon discusses the correspondence between Roy Colmer and Hanne Darboven, and the artworks which came out of these letters. Colmer's seminal photographic series, 'Doors', is also discussed in depth.The talk took place on 24 June 2017 at Dia's Chelsea location, on the occasion of the exhibition 'Hanne Darboven: Kulturgeschichte 1880–1983' (5 November 2016 – 29 July 2017).
