Lisson Gallery

New publication accompanies Christopher Le Brun's first show at Lisson

3 July 2018

British artist Christopher Le Brun's first exhibition with Lisson Gallery, 'New Painting' (4 July – 18 August 2018), features a new series of large-scale abstractions created over the past two years. The glowing, scintillating veils of colour in the artist's recent oil works on canvas contribute to the constant exchanges of movement, energy, warmth and light occurring throughout his radiant show.

A new publication has been produced on the occasion of Le Brun's exhibition, featuring full-colour illustrations of works in his show, alongside an essay written by art historian and writer Ben Street, with an introduction by Nicholas Logsdail.

Now available via Cornerhouse Publications.
